The tasks of IDA Public Sector

IDA Public falls under the Council of Employees and protects interests regarding employment and salary for publicly employed members of IDA. Find your representatives in the Executive Committee and read the latest report.

to safeguard interests regarding employment and salary for IDA members employed under the State Collective Agreement, in regions and municipalities and in joint municipal undertakings

to strengthen the work of trade union representatives in the public sector

to contribute to the exchange of experience, the sharing of knowledge and the networking of union representatives in the public sector.

IDA Public sector is based in the state area on fractions, each of which belongs to one overall sector. The sectors act as a forum for the exchange of experience between union representatives.

The board of IDA public sector appoints one spokesperson and one deputy spokesperson to the council of employees.
