Working in Denmark

IDA Peer Group for foreigners working in Denmark

Are you an international professional who has recently joined the Danish job market? Do you sometimes struggle to navigate Danish workplace culture, or to understand why Danes communicate the way they do? In that case, IDA’s peer group for foreigners working in Denmark might be the perfect network for you.

In this peer group, we discuss a variety of topics relevant to living and working in Denmark: from coffee break talk with your colleagues to transitioning to a new labour market.

The group is organised by voluntary IDA members who are completing a course in professional facilitation. Based on the experiences of you and other participants, the organisers will open a discussion and suggest tools for dealing with any issues you experience.

Why you should join the group:

  • You get a chance to discuss your positive and negative experiences from working in Denmark with other international professionals
  • You will be able to discuss personal issues, such as the difficult aspects of living abroad and missing your family, with others in a safe environment
  • You will meet other expats in a similar situation and expand your network

Please note

The group is for IDA-members only and will be carried out by demand if enough people sign up in a geographical location. The price for the course, which consists of four meetings, is DKK 495.
