What do we need people for? Technologies of the future by Peter Svarre

People have been fantasizing about the creation of artificial beings for centuries, but over the last decade fantasy seems to have become reality. 

Artificial intelligences are talking, walking, writing and driving cars. What happened? Why did it happen so fast? And will artificial intelligence outsmart humans within our lifetime? 

Thinking machines force us to ask old questions anew: What does it mean to be human? What makes us unique? And how do live in a world where the boundary between man and machine is getting increasingly blurred?
