Python is a programming language which is fairly easy to learn and widely used for web developing, machine learning and scientific data analysis in general. In this course you will receive an introduction to the most fundamental coding concepts, which you need to know and master in order to treat and analyse data in Python.

IDA Studynow offers online live webinars. The webinars are hosted on Zoom and you will follow the instructor live as he presents and demonstrates the program. During the webinar you get the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on your potential challenges with Python.
📅 Practical information
The webinar will be hosted on Zoom and you will receive the Zoom details on the day of the webinar.
To participate in the webinar, you must have Python and a number of code libraries (in the SciPy ecosystem) installed in advance. The easiest way to do this is to install the so-called Anaconda distribution:
1. Go to https://www.anaconda.com/products/individual with your computer.
2. Press Download in the box labelled Anaconda Distribution (it should automatically select the Graphical Installer that matches your operating system).
3. Follow the installation guide.
4. Check that you have installed correctly by opening the Anaconda Navigator programme (read more here: https://docs.anaconda.com/anaconda/install/verify-install/).
5. If you experience problems, you can get more help here: https://docs.anaconda.com/anaconda/install/.
