From Student Assistant to First Promotion

From Student Assistant to First Promotion
What no one tells you about navigating workplace culture. We will discuss realities of entering the workplace and transitions from studies to full-time work. Hear about mental health, belonging, and strategies for successfully navigating the shift.

This webinar is a cooperation between The Danish Society of Engineers (IDA), Connected Women in AI (CWAI) and the Tuborg Foundation.

In this session, attendees will hear peer stories and expert insights on how to build resilience, foster visibility, and develop a supportive network in their new careers. The discussion will uncover practical approaches to creating a sense of belonging, managing stress, and overcoming common pitfalls such as imposter syndrome and burnout.

The speakers for this session are TBA and are planned to include:

● A workplace psychologist or mental health advocate with experience supporting young professionals, addressing resilience, coping mechanisms, and the importance of mental health resources

● A recent graduate or early-career professional who successfully navigated the transition and can share relatable stories and actionable advice

● A career coach who works with young women in STEM, offering guidance on visibility, self-advocacy, and professional growth
