Marine accidents and incidents can happen at any time. They are rarely caused by a single event, but instead usually trigged by several factors that could be totally unrelated, often occurring over a lengthy period due to failure of safety barriers and risk prevention measures in place.
The maritime industry, and not only in Denmark, has a long-standing tradition making use of the insights and lessons learned from the comprehensive reports issued by the national Marine Accident Investigation Board, following the most serious cases.
During the event we will delve deeper into the complex subject, before the traditional Christmas “æbleskiver” being served.
