Agreement with CLEMENS
IDA has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Aarhus-based law firm CLEMENS. CLEMENS has special competencies within intellectual property rights (IPR), real estate, corporate law, general commercial law, employment law and managing disputes.
The agreement between IDA and CLEMENS means that the preliminary meeting is free of charge. In addition to this, CLEMENS offers IDA members a discount on their hourly rates and on selected standard services. The discount will be defined on a case-to-case basis, but as a general rule a discount of 15% of the fee that CLEMENS normally charges for consultancy will be offered.

When you contact them, please inform them of the reason for contacting them and provide relevant contact details. You will also be asked to provide them with your IDA membership number.
Their normal hourly rate for an attorney at law is DKK 2,500 and for a trainee attorney DKK 1,800 (excluding VAT). A 15% discount will be given on these hourly rates for IDA members.
Company formation (including model articles of association, preparation of the register of shareholders and registration in the public register of owners) will cost IDA members DKK 3,000 excluding VAT. This is a DKK 2,000 discount on their normal price.
As part of the agreement, CLEMENS offers consultancy for the following:
- Protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights (inventions, patents, designs, trademarks, etc.)
- Company formation, including ownership agreements
- Purchasing and renting property
- Preparation and registration of commercial contracts, including license agreements, agency agreements, distribution agreements, etc.
- Preparation of terms of sale and delivery
- Employment relationships
- Contract cases
- Tackling disputes
