A good step on the road to leadership is to map out your ambitions and train yourself to see your career in a new perspective.
As a member of the peer group, you will have the opportunity to develop a plan that suits your specific situation and goals, while receiving ongoing support on the challenges you encounter along the way.
You will learn to visualise yourself as a manager by delving into important considerations such as
What makes a good leader for me? Why do I want to be a manager? What will I find most challenging about being a manager?
The peer group is a confidential forum where you follow each other's development and can share insights and experiences. Over time, you will get to know your peers really well and you will be able to give each other tailored support and feedback.
The peer group's facilitators introduce relevant exercises and tools that provide valuable insights into your interests, competencies, strengths and weaknesses.
The group meetings are for you, and you can suggest topics, cases or presentations that will facilitate constructive conversation between you at the meetings. The confidential group provides an opportunity to discuss thoughts and considerations with like-minded people who have no personal stake in your working life.
Fill out the contact form and get invited to a chat with a consultant from IDA about the group and your situation.
