The Sunflower Lanyard or Sunflower allows you to share that you have an non-visible disability or condition that others must take into account.
Anyone with an invisible disability can receive a Sunflower lanyard for free when they visit IDA.
Invisible disabilities can include problems with speech, vision or hearing, learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, fibromyalgia, asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, dementia, etc.
You do not need to document your disability in any way. You will be given the Sunflower Lanyard without any questions.
You can get the Sunflower Cord at the reception of IDA Conference at Kalvebod Brygge 31-33, 1780 Copenhagen V.
You can make an agreement to deliver the Sunflower lanyard at IDA's regional offices by contacting the office that is relevant to you.
Aarhus: The sunflower lanyard is issued by contacting the IDA employee present at the event.
Aalborg: Contact network coordinator Luka Katrine Agerbo by email luka@ida.dk or phone 33 18 55 23.
Odense: Contact network coordinator Bente Hessellund Vedel by email at bhv@ida.dk or telephone 33 18 97 80.
You do not have to return the Sunflower lanyard to IDA after use - take it with you and use it in other places that also support the Sunflower.
IDA participates in the Sunflower Programme to drive change in society so that people with hidden disabilities feel included on an equal footing with others.
The Sunflower lanyard helps ensure a culture where members, guests at IDA and employees can feel safe and get the support they need.
