Would you like to be a more comfortable presenter and speaker?

This is a unique opportunity to network with other engineers and improve your public speaking skills. If you are introvert, you can practice becoming more comfortable presenting and speaking to a group of people. If you dread standing in front of an audience or meeting new people, you can learn tips on how to handle nerves. Perhaps you have, as a perfectionist, experienced problems giving and receiving constructive feedback?  

Adam, Nicki and Martha from Aalborg and Esbjerg Toastmasters clubs will give you an introductory meeting to what Toastmasters can do for you. Toastmasters are accustomed to making people feel at ease and providing a ‘safe space’ in meetings. You need not bring anything or prepare in advance
to attend the meeting.  

Active participation in the meeting is encouraged, but optional. It can be done either in English or Danish. 

What is Toastmasters International

Toastmasters Interntional is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, the organization’s membership is approximately 280,000 in more than 14,700 clubs in 144 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.

There will be time for questions throughout the session and coffee, tea, cake, and snacks will be served.
