SBO will share some experiences for installation vessels, for example technical challenges, operating criteria, weather windows and the latest installation vessel trends. And also some challenges in Taiwan for example bottom conditions, weather, and local content requirements.

The Tyra Re-development consists of offshore removal and onshore recycling of +50.000 ton old facilities together with transport and installation of +35.000 ton of new-build facilities for the future operation of the Tyra Asset, Denmark’s biggest industry project to date involving several construction vessels

18:30 - 19:00 Simulation methods for off-shore operations by Jacob Michelsen, Senior Specialist at FORCE Technology and Robert Smyth, Senior Instructor at FORCE Technology.

Simulation software is these years undergoing various improvements to enable more complex simulation scenarios such as those involved in offshore operations. An insight into the work will be given and a number of application examples shown.
