Visit DTU Nanolab with IDA LifeScience
DTU Nanolab is the National Centre for Nanofabrication and Characterization in Denmark. The center is an open access research infrastructure facility owned by and located at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
Their mission is threefold and is to:
- Push the boundaries of micro/nano fabrication and electron beam based characterization.
- Provide Denmark with state-of-the-art infrastructure, technology and education within micro- and nanofabrication and nanocharacterization.
- Enable Danish industry to exploit the existing and future benefits of nanotechnology.
DTU Nanolab operate and maintain advanced processing equipment within 1350 m2 cleanroom facilities.

18.50-20.00 Tour around our cleanrooms including a view behind the scenes. Talk about ventilation and demands.
The presentation will mainly be about our fabrication section where we are currently running two cleanrooms. We will present the capabilities of our main cleanroom housing advanced processing equipment for device fabrication mainly on semiconductor wafers. Furthermore, we will introduce our new cleanroom dedicated to polymer processing and show what new possibilities this give our users. Finally, we will take a short 3D tour in the cleanroom using our digital twin before we take you for a tour around the real cleanroom.
