Effect of wine ageing with Janice Wang and Domen Presern
What happens to wine as it ages, and how can we learn to assess maturity? Join IDA Aarhus for an informative and entertaining evening where we take you on a journey exploring the role that time plays on the chemical and sensory properties of wine.

Janice Wang DipWSET from Aarhus University’s Department of Food Science and Domen Presern DipWSET will host a masterclass in wine ageing. We will explore examples of ageing across different wine categories from sparkling to dessert wines, and look at how wines age in the winery as well as in the bottle. Participants will also learn to assess the ageing potential of wines. There will be biscuits and water accompanying the tasting.
