This years theme of Urban Design Day held at Aalborg University is "Diversity in urban design: Across practices, people, and places". The programme invites you into an afternoon of talks and presentations about the broad field of urban design.
This year’s Urban Design Day explores what diversity means in the field of urban design: across practices, people, and places. We invite alumni to share how they navigate in different contexts and how to engage with different communities in their work. How diversity - of users, scales, approaches, and professional paths - shapes the way they design. From participatory processes to climtesensitive strategies, from inclusive public spaces to unconventional career journeys, the day highlights the many ways urban designers respond to a plural and changing world.
