This is an introduction to what an Employment Union is all about. The target group are those new to Denmark or curious on Unions. It is organized in cooperation with Brotherhood for Professionals of Color (BPoC) and Professional Women of Colour (ProWoC).

17.45 - 18.44 Keynote speaker is Juliane Marie Neiiendam, Chair of IDA Copenhagen and Danish EESC (EU) mandate
The following topics will be adressed:
- How do unions support professionals in Denmark?
- Understanding the difference between an "A-Kasse" and a "Fagforening"
- Salary negotiation strategies, contract rights, and salary insurance options
- Work visa regulations and legal considerations for internationals
- How is the EU and the EESC working with DEI (especially inclusion) going forward?
