The event has been developed in collaboration with KnowIT and take place at their premises.
Digital sovereignty, in the context of a nation-state, refers to a country's ability to control its own digital infrastructure, data and technologies and to govern the digital environment within its borders independently. In essence it means a country's capacity to act independently in the digital world, both offensively and defensively, to foster digital innovation and protect its citizens interests. Digitial sovereignty is a sub-topic of the larger discussion regarding strategic autonomy.
