Sommelier and wine enthusiast Otto guides you through the science and practice of wine. Discover an alternative approach to winemaking that is becoming more widespread as winemakers get more experienced and comfortable with low-intervention winemaking.

Welcome to Vinøs wine bar for an enjoyable evening in the sign of wine. At this tasting session, you will get a deeper insight into natural winemaking and a deep dive into the impact on the grapes, the soil, the environment and not least for the tasting profile. We uncover sustainable viticulture and biodiversity - based on old and new practices. We will also learn about the influence of the moon, Rudolf Steiner and other funky trends like orange wine (macerated white wine).

The session will take a scientific approach to becoming familiar with what you have in the glass and why exactly you like that wine. And yes, we taste the wine as well! 8 different wines...

The wine session will be conducted by Otto - a wine enthusiast and certified Sommelier at Vinakademiet, WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) Level 3, certified Capstone California Advanced Level 3 as well as a host of specialized courses, travels to vineyards in North America, South Africa, New Zealand and many wine regions in Europe, from where Vinøs also imports wine.

The talk will be given at a level where everyone can participate, so you don't need to know anything about wine beforehand.

The talk will be given in English. The session includes drinks, but not food. Food can be ordered at Vinøs during the event for an additional fee.
