The strength of curiosity, and how to kill your assumptions
I want to share a project where the team and I were asked to define a vision for a digital product, but through our curious approach the most important delivery or outcome – in my opinion – ended up being eliminating assumptions. Both assumptions about the value of the product for users, but also assumptions about the product itself and its surroundings. The case is a great example of how a valuable project delivery can be more than a “physical” design handover.
The talk will cover how we approached the task, the importance of involving the right people and the most important learnings.

Viktor Beregszaszi
How I designed my dream job as a gamification expert in Ørsted
I want to share how I created a position for myself as a senior designer & gamification expert in Ørsted. I am an expat from Hungary and I started in Ørsted after a long streak of unemployment and freelancing. I got hired as a fresh graduate with no design education, some facilitation practice and a huge love for games. I had a vision that I want to make learning and work more fun by bringing different ways of being to the corporate world. Through following my passion, concious personal branding and luck I arrived to the point that now I am a senior designer building educative boardgames full time in the company. It fills me with joy to see that more than 1000 employees played at least one game i designed.
At this talk I will share my story with challenges, solutions and learnings growing from freelancer to gamification expert. And I hope thaty story will inspire other aspiring designers.

Lea Porsmose
I graduated from ITU in 2019 with a master in digital design and communication and a specialization in interaction design.
