First, Albert Brønd Wendelboe will introduce Sustainable Value Chain and the upcoming legislation in the area and thereby provide you with an understanding of the general ESG and sustainability topics in a company. Also, he will instruct you in how to assess your impact and low-hanging fruits using LCA in supply chain operations.
Albert is Master in Sustainable Design Engineering at Aalborg University and Head of Sustainability in Contour Design, a market leader in the research, development and design of ergonomic computer mouse solutions such as RollerMouse, Unimouse and Multimedia Controller.
Following Albert, Henrik Knak will introduce the supply chain aspects of sustainability, and the current hot trends in the area including circular economy. Beyond getting insights into the complex and holistic merge of products, supply chain, and customers you will also experience several real sustainability cases to exemplify shown best practices.
Henrik is Master of Mechanical Engineering at DTU and has a number of commercial and sustainability educations from CBS, Cambridge University and MIT. He is Partner in Unify Partners working with supply chain, sustainability and digital. Unify Partners is a novel advisory house focusing on digital, ERP, sustainability and supply chain.
Both will provide you with different battle-prof handles to lowering your climate impact in different industries, e.g. Redesign for sustainability, Material choice, Production, Transport, Repair/longivity, Product as a service, Circular economy, etc.
You will be introduced to a case study we will use to do a small assessment during the evening using the presented tools and the different handles to lower your supply chain impact. How far can you go…?
After a break with refreshments, you will get a first-hand view from a very specific and newer handle, namely AI tools used in ESG by Jakob Hauge. He will provide you with an overview of the many ESG tools and deep dive into AI in ESG providing you knowledge that may boost your work with LCAs, doing Double Materiality Assessments (DMAs) and e.g. CBAM, CSRD and CSDDD reporting.
Jakob is Master of Economics at Copenhagen University and Head of Sustainability in Unify Partners working with EU reporting, ESG regulations, and AI tool for ESG and sustainability. Beyond working with ESG and sustainability you might know Jakob from 'Bagedysten' where he designed the iconic 'guitar kage'.
The case work will have a Team Winner selected based on democratic clapping session (who gets the biggest applaud). A price will be awarded the winning team.

1. Easy LCA tool (MS Excel) for supply-chain assessments.
2. Supplier questionnaires to get you started with better primary data (also translated into Chinese).
3. Overview of ESG and sustainability software including AI tools .
4. Methods to boost your company’s ESG and sustainability.
