Statistics Brush-Up

Get ready for a 4-hour course to practice and test your knowledge before the Statistics Exam that takes place on the 16th of May. With supporting help, a TA, Nuria Manez-Molina, s234523@dtu.dk who can help eliminate your doubts.

Agenda:

IDA Presentation + GE Union – 15 minutes

First Session – 1 hour 30 minutes

Break – 30 minutes

Second Session – 1 hour 45 minutes

What are you going to learn?

First Session – Statistics review with examples

Second Session – Typical exam problems

Math review on:

• Probability
• Confidence Intervals
• Hypothesis Testing
• Analysis of Two Samples
• Simulation Methods
• Simple & Multiple Linear Regression
• Categorical and Count Data
• *Grouped Data (one-way ANOVA and two-way)

The first 100 students will get 2 free slices of pizza.
