Prepare for the Annual Salary Negotiation - Module 1

Prepare for the Annual Salary Negotiation - Module 1
Do you lack inspiration on how to best approach the salary negotiation? IDA Privat and your region offers you a salary negotiation course of two modules, and here in module 1 you’ll learn how to view salary negotiation as an ongoing process.

This course is part of IDA Privat and your region's salary negotiation course, which consists of 2 modules that together gives you the right tools to put yourself into play for the annual salary negotiation. To get the full outcome, we recommend that you participate in both modules.

The course is aimed at members employed in the private sector who negotiate salary and other terms of employment.

On module 1 we will focus on acknowledging salary negotiation as an ongoing process. If you want your salary to increase, it depends on much more than what goes on at the actual salary negotiation with your manager. To have a better chance in receiving a pay rise you need to be able to put yourself in the spotlight on an everyday basis, as that will strengthen your position when you argue your case. It’s crucial that you can make your results and achievements stand out.

More specifically module 1 gives you:

Inspiration to how to work strategically with your salary negotiation

Inspiration to how to make yourself visible inside your organization and how make your results visible for your manager

Increased awareness of the value you add to the organization

The course will be taught by three of IDA's career counselors and will be a mix of both theory and tools. It will also be possible to ask questions along the way.

If you have registered for the course but are prevented from participating, please unsubscribe so that someone else can get your place. If you do not participate and have not signed off, you will be charged a no-show fee.

Once you have participated in module 1 we strongly recommend that you also participate in module 2 which focuses on the preparation for the negotiation meeting.
