Platforms for Machine Learning and AI - Hands-on.

Platforms for Machine Learning and AI - Hands-on.
Are you ready to take a deep-dive into learning more about the different platforms and libraries for machine learning and AI? Then come and participate in this workshop and please bring your own laptop.

This talk introduces a selection of platforms and libraries for machine learning and AI.

The aim is to distribute code for hands-on verification and distribute links to open-source publications as background material.

The presentation language will be English if preferred by some of the participants.

The following laptop/cloud platforms are included:

  • RStudio on laptop and its cloud platform Posit for R. This will include the open-source R-package Bioconductor for bioinformatics.
  • Anaconda on laptop and the Spyder IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for Python.
  • The Google Colab cloud platform with Tensorflow for machine learning and ai using libraries from Hugging Face applying pretrained LLM model from OpenAI.
  • Examples using LLM cloud for coding in R and Python.
