The host for the workshop will be Co-founder of Raw Culture and Kombucha nerd Tomáš Ševčík. He has developed all the unique Raw Culture Kombucha tastes out of a local Michelin Kitchen. Due to extremely positive feed-back on the unique tastes, he and his partner decided to make it commercially available by founding Raw Culture in 2020.
The program:
1. Short tour of the production facility and introduction to Raw Culture.
2. Introduction to the workshop and Kombucha (Sandwiches and Kombucha will be served)
3. Workshop – We will learn to brew our own Kombucha.
After the workshop each participant will have approximately 4 liters of your own brewed Kombucha and starter culture to bring home. With the learning from the workshop and the starter culture you can start brewing your own Kombucha at home.
You don’t have to bring anything for the workshop. All ingredients, jars etc. is included in the workshop material – You will get to bring home and keep all material used in the workshop.
But what is Kombucha?
Kombucha is a fermented, lightly effervescent, sweetened black tea drink commonly consumed for its purported health benefits. Sometimes the beverage is called kombucha tea to distinguish it from the culture of bacteria and yeast. Juice, spices, fruit, or other flavorings are often added. Many people drink kombucha tea for its health benefits.
