Turning ideas into influence through clear, confident, and empathetic communication

The world of engineering is changing fast. With AI transforming industries, hybrid workplaces becoming the norm, and technology advancing at record speed, technical skills alone are no longer enough. What sets professionals apart today are human skills: self-awareness, adaptability, communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively.

This workshop series is designed for engineers at all stages of their careers, whether you’re curious about leadership, preparing to step into it, or simply want to strengthen the people skills that make work more fulfilling and impactful. Leadership is not just about managing others; it begins with how you lead yourself.

Over three interactive and experiential workshops, you’ll explore how to:

Understand and strengthen your unique leadership qualities.

Quiet your inner critic, overcome imposter syndrome, and connect with your authentic Inner Leader.

Communicate with clarity, confidence, and empathy - even in difficult situations.

These are the essential skills that will make you stand out, not just as an engineer, but as a future-ready professional in a rapidly evolving world. Workshops can be taken individually, but together they form a powerful journey of self-leadership and growth.

Workshop 3: The art of communication

Great ideas don’t speak for themselves: you do. Engineers often master technical expertise but struggle to get their message across in a way that inspires others, builds trust, or resolves conflicts. Communication is one of the most essential human skills for any professional in 2025.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Practice expressing your ideas with clarity and confidence.
  • Develop the art of active listening to truly understand others.
  • Learn strategies for handling feedback and conflict constructively.
  • Explore how body language, tone, and presence affect how your message is received.

You’ll leave with practical tools to communicate in ways that not only share information
but also influence, connect, and inspire.

IDA Young Professionals will serve a sandwich and soda for you to enjoy!

There is a 200 kr. no-show fee
