Introduction to Power BI & Business Intelligence

Introduction to Power BI & Business Intelligence
Learn how to automate information handling in Microsoft Power BI and create visualizations for your organization.

The course will revolve around the MS application Power BI Desktop where you will learn to create data models along with wanted calculations and business logic. You will learn how to transform data as well as how to design and adjust the data model. You will be introduced to more advanced data models and how you can start working with your own data model with different data sources. You will also work with visualizations of data, so you're able to communicate your data dashboard. Lastly, you will learn how to update, combine and share reports and dashboards in your organization and how to easily search for new insights in already existing dashboards.

This course is part 1 of 2 courses about Power BI. The next course will be a workshop on how to use Power BI where you are able to pose questions about your own modelling from the first part of the course. It is recommended that you participate in both courses.
