HPC - high performance computing in Python - Copenhagen

IDA supports the UN's world goals

IDA wants to make visible the link to the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). This event covers, among other things, the above development goals. Read more about the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)

Enhance your capabilities in harnessing company data, streamlining operations and modernizing software infrastructure. This course will teach you to identify bottlenecks, optimize resource use, and update outdated scientific code to Python.

Are any of these HPC-problems familiar to you?

Do you ever find yourself working with large amounts of data that a normal computer—or even a single powerful server—cannot process?

Are you tired of waiting for your data processing tasks to be completed?

Or do you encounter performance bottlenecks when working with large datasets? '

Even with smaller datasets, do you wonder why Python  sometimes seems very slowespecially when dealing with scientific tasks that involve mathematical operations, arrays, and loops?

High-Performance Computing (HPC) involves using supercomputers and parallel processing techniques to solve complex computational problems quickly and efficiently. HPC can dramatically speed up data processing times, handle massive datasets, and perform complex calculations that go beyond the capabilities of conventional desktop computers.

This  course offers some fundamental theory to introduce the concepts, but it is mainly designed to be hands-on, practical, and case-related, ensuring that you gain real-world skills that you can apply in your work environment immediately.
