How to: Strengthen your presentation technique

It might be difficult to stay motivated when you have been looking for a job for a long period of time. Specially if you are unemployed. Rejections and closed doors can knock down the motivation of most people and can affect your self-confidence and your belief that you have something to offer the companies. But you do!

Unemployment can affect us all. The longer it lasts, the more it might feel as if we have lost control of the situation, and over our everyday lives. In addition, notches in our self-confidence can impact our ability to present ourselves - and to put ourselves forward convincingly - in front of potential employers. Luckily, there is help for this. 

In this workshop we provide you with tools that will help you regain control of your situation. We will enable you to regain confidence and motivation, to identify the challenge or challenges that right now are keeping you from landing a job. In addition, we will give you tools to help you strengthen your presentation technique. Thus, you can stand strong during your meetings with employers; both before, during and after the job interview. 

The seminar will be facilitated by two of IDAs career advisers, and it will be a mixture of theory and tools. There will also be opportunities to ask questions. 

You will receive the link for the online seminar a few days prior to the seminar and on the same days as the seminar. Follow the instructions in the mail with the link and make sure that sound and picture is working.

If you have signed up for the seminar, but are unable to attend, please remember to cancel so someone else can get your online spot. If you don’t attend and haven’t cancelled, we will charge you with a no-show fee.
