Gokart with IDA - Sønderborg
Come race your fellow students and friends for 30 min of adrenaline rushing gokart
Fuel your need for speed and join us in our very own LeMans by GoKart! Teams of two will compete over the course of an hour to see who has the sharpest steering and best throttle control. Come and enjoy the company alongside the smell of burnt rubber.
We will leave from outside the university at 16:30, it is about 14km from the city center so within biking distance, or about 18 min by car. If needed we will arrange carpolling to the location or you can just meet up at 16:50 at Sønderborg racing center.
Be sure to bring clothes for the weather and don't wear any high heels
The gokart can drive up to 70km/hr
If the weather is nice, we'll bring a grill with some nice snacks on and a beer on the side
Good to know
- There is a changing room so you can change both before and after the race, and the necessary safety equipment will be provided to you before the race starts
- Dress for the weather, it might be a bit colder on the cart, and the track is outside so if it rains, bring a raincoat
- You are not allowed to drive the gocart if you are intoxicated, pregnant or have heart problems
