This course provides a solid introduction to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and the mandatory requirements for manufacturing medicines and medical devices.
GMP was introduced by health authorities to ensure that produced medicines and medical devices are safe, effective, and of high quality. This course will cover GMP requirements in Europe, the USA, and globally.
What you will work on in the course:
· The background of GMP requirements
· Example of a typical pharmaceutical manufacturing process
· Specific GMP requirements for the facility, equipment, process, product, personnel, and documentation
· Examples of lack of GMP compliance discovered by health authorities when inspecting pharmaceutical companies
