What you will learn
Version control is at the center of any file-based project. Keeping track of changes is essential to creating a great product. In this workshop you will learn the popular version control system Git and how you collaborate with others.
First, you'll learn the basics of understanding Git. Next, you will collaborate with a mate sitting next to you in a fun and easy step-by-step experience. Finally, you'll learn how to resolve a merge conflict properly.
When you're finished with this course, you'll have a working knowledge of Git as a version control system for your project and feel confident using it in your next group project.
A sandwich and drinks will be provided during the course.
