Female entrepreneurship: Busting the myths

Female founders receive both fewer and smaller investments than male founders in Denmark. Some women experience other challenges, for instance when it comes to maternity leave and work-life balance. That doesn’t stop them from founding and building companies.

This event aims to bring you together and give you access to some top female entrepreneurs and passionate women in business. We will reflect with three female founders who are changing their industry and creating an impact in their communities. We will dive into their stories together – exploring what drove them to start their business, while discussing the myths and challenges they have faced along the way. Finally, we want to celebrate women in startups and look at what excites them as entrepreneurs.

You will hear:

• The personal stories of two female founders: Mie Haraldsted, CEO, Aim Robotics, and Katja Grothe-Eberhardt, CEO, Klimate.io.
• Helle Neergaard, professor of Entrepreneurship with special focus on gender, Aarhus University.
• Joo Runge, CEO, Intech Founders, accelerator program for female tech founders.
