How to win the green transition? Expert panel debate

How to win the green transition? Expert panel debate
The green transition requires a mix of policies, long-term provisions and investments - we need to find a way to move from action plan to concrete implementation

The green transition requires a mix of policies, long-term provisions and investments. It also requires the political will to capitalise on best practices and make use of existing technologies. This massive shift in energy infrastructure needs human hands. This means mass employment for two generations across all sectors involving low-skilled, semi-skilled and professional labour. The green transition requires cooperation across sectors and a multidisciplinary dialogue to make sure that no one is left behind in the transition to a low-carbon economy.  The EU Just Transition Mechanism is set to address the social and economic effects of the transition.

Pernille Weiss, MEP, and Association of Nordic Engineers have invited a group of Nordic Experts to debate how to win the green transition, where they will answer questions from MEP's and discuss best practices across the Nordic countries.
