Viking introduced its new Novel VIKING LifeCraft System in 2019, and obtained the first Flag approval by Danish Maritime Authorities in August 2019, followed by acceptance from Bahamas Maritime Authorities in January 2020. The LifeCraft System is targeting the New Build and Retrofit Cruise segment, but ferry projects can also benefit for the innovative system under the new SOLAS 2020 regulations.
