This is hands-on training with practical exercises. You will need to bring your own laptop.
You will also need the following things :
  • A GitHub account
  • Latest version of Git
  • A GitHub Copilot license - preferably Pro, Pro+, Business or Enterprise
  • Subscribe here:
  • Latest version of Visual Studio Code
  • Latest version of GitHub Copilot extension (can be installed from the Visual Studio Code marketplace)
There will be some set exercises, where you can choose to work with any of the following languages, so make sure you have at least one of these installed:
  • Python
  • Docker
  • NodeJS
  • .NET
  • Java/Maven )
  • ()
  • C++ ()
You are also encouraged to bring your own project to work on - this can be a hobby project or any codebase you are familiar with and feel comfortable using genAI tools on, as familiarity with the code will help you to evaluate the suggestions from Copilot.

One training day, at 9:00 to 16:00
After the course:
On completing the course, you will receive a course certificate.

The training is conducted by an experienced consultant from Eficode, a European consultancy specializing in Continuous Delivery & DevOps.
