Do you love plant-based foods, but haven’t quite found the creamy mouth-watering plant-based cheese yet?
Then this is the event for you!
The event will start with a demonstration of how to make almond ricotta, then we will have a glass of wine and a slice of delicious pizza. We taste a few different plant-based cheeses, for example a version of the camembert and of course the almond ricotta. We finish the night of with seeing the finished product of the demonstration.
This exciting demonstration will show you all the steps of making your very own almond ricotta from scratch. What tools you need, how to make almond milk, the curdling of the milk and what the finished cheese looks and tastes like. Eva, our amazing host and owner of Madenitaly will talk about the evolution of plant-based cheeses and will be happy to answer questions about plant-based food, during and after the demonstration.
About Madenitaly
It is the very first Italian plant-based restaurant in Denmark. After a long period focusing on pizza and having reached a high level of plant-based toppings in Copenhagen street food they ventured on an adventure of opening their own restaurant, right in the side street of Nyhavn. In April 2018 they opened their doors and expanded their plant-based menu to homemade pasta, cakes, homemade seitan, soy and cashew cheeses and much more. The restaurant is ever evolving but never compromises on the quality and sustainability of the food they serve, which is something that they value very deeply.
