Danish Design at Sea: Ship interior architecture and furnishing

Danish Design at Sea: Ship interior architecture and furnishing
Bruce Peter’s entertaining and informative lecture will focus on the research for his new book DANISH DESIGN AT SEA: Ship interior architecture and furnishing.

Since the mid-twentieth century, Denmark has become internationally known and admired as a leader in architecture, interior, furniture and lighting design. One very important aspect of this development that has until now been ignored is the design by Danish architects of the interiors of ships. Such vessels were among the most elegantly appointed and comprehensively detailed ever so sail in any nation.

There will be served Glögg and Æbleskiver as usual.

The event is in collaboration with Danish Society for Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Foundation.
