UNESCO and UIA have designated Copenhagen as the World Capital of Architecture 2023 - why, this will be a great opportunity to explore exactly that! We’ll meet at the Jesuschurch (‘Jesuskirken’), which is located about 200 m from the Elephant Gate. It is constructed by Carl Jacobsen and quite brilliant compared to other Danish architecture. Afterwards we’ll pass by the new headquarters of Carlsberg, as well as sites like ‘Carls Villa’ and his ‘Glyptotek’, before we’ll move towards the center of the Carlsberg district. The tour will come to an end around the ‘Honor Residence’ and the ‘Old Carlsberg’, which is located right where the storyline begins.
