Change detection in polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image data

Change detection in polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image data
Based on an omnibus test statistics in the complex Wishart distribution we detect change in a time series of polarimetric synthetic aperture radar data. We give several examples with data from the airborne EMISAR and space-borne Sentinel-1 and Radarsat-2

Detection of change in time series of remote sensing polarimetric synthetic aperture radar image data featuring (1) day-and-night and, (2) all-weather capabilities as well as (3) high temporal frequency revisit times, is potentially important in for example large geographical scale forest and agricultural management, disaster management, and climate studies.
