Detection of change in time series of remote sensing polarimetric synthetic aperture radar image data featuring (1) day-and-night and, (2) all-weather capabilities as well as (3) high temporal frequency revisit times, is potentially important in for example large geographical scale forest and agricultural management, disaster management, and climate studies.
