Casecompetition: Become an Audio Explorer in New York
Online casecompetition - win a trip to New York with your team!
Sign up with your team (2-4 participants) for the Audio Explorers engineering online championship before 10 April 2025 and show us what you can do within either electrical-, mechanical-, and software engineering.
We pick approximately 26 winners that get to go with us to New York in August 2025. All expenses covered.
The winning teams will be equipped with a GPS and a small Sound Activity Meter (SAM) to examine sound levels in the world’s quintessential urban environment.
A packed schedule awaits the winners. You will be fascinated by technical museums, get to visit hi-tech companies and meet leading researchers within sound to hear about their projects. Our own engineers will also give daily lessons on the R&D we do at Demant.
What did the Audio Explorers do in 2024?
The first year of the Audio Explorers competition was in 2016, when the country’s brightest 25 engineering students flew to New York. In August 2024, our Audio Explorers had a packed schedule.
Their four days of activities included a visit to a top hi-tech company, students presenting their project with a skyline view over Manhattan, and noise data collection throughout New York.
