We all hope that researchers can crack the code to rid us of cancer. The researchers are far along – but also far from a final solution. Come and hear, see, and try activities at exhibition about cancer at the Danish Cancer Society.

At this event we will ask questions like “How are researchers working to understand and combat cancer?” by diving into the exhibition, 'udForsk,' where you can try out activities about cancer.
We will also have a lecture by postdoc Aurel György Prósz from Danish Cancer Society, who will talk about his research:
Aurel is working on the intersection of translational cancer genomics and artificial intelligence. His main job is to develop and run algorithms which can uncover new insights on how cancer develops and what therapeutic interventions we can use to inhibit it. More specifically, he’s working with gastric, breast and kidney cancer cases, and specialized in DNA-repair pathways, and on how to exploit the deficiencies in these mechanisms therapeutically.
There will, of course, be an opportunity for questions.
