Making green ammonia available from developing a network of fuel supply and distribution to users of maritime purposes is the key to Grieg and their ammonia partnerships in Northern Europe and in line with the vision of restoring our oceans.

The ammonia fuel supply system for an engine operating on liquefied ammonia will be presented together with the challenges associated with handling the ammonia from the tank towards the engine.

Navigating in the rapid development of green technologies. DFDS will give an update on how the fast-evolving green technologies, changes in customer demands and new opportunities impacts ship design and stakeholder relations.

A step in a mass roll-out of ammonia ships from shipbuilders to machinists at shipping companies has now been taken by the classification company ABS’s recent publication of a guide to ammonia-powered ships - "Guidelines for design and construction of ammonia-powered ships

The event is in collaboration with Danish Society for Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Foundation.
