Ada Lovelace Day 2024

Back by popular demand: IDA IT, Dansk IT, 3Shape and EPICO have joined forces in yet again creating an interesting Ada Lovelace Day as a celebration of all the amazing women working in Tech, which are working hard every day on making the world a better place, but are sometimes a bit unknown or hidden in larger circles.

We would like to invite you to an event, where we celebrate our joy for STEM with good stories and debates. The event takes place at 3Shape in Copenhagen on October 8th at 17.00-21.00 and it's open for members of IDA, Dansk IT and others that might have an interest in increasing the diversity within Tech, digitalisation and computation as a whole.

The program will be consisting of 4 presentations, a panel discussion and later followed by networking with some tapas and wine for the occassion.

Inese Podgaiska, Secretary General at Association of Nordic Engineers

Inese holds a master’s degree in diplomacy and international negotiations. Inese worked as a Latvian Diplomat in Brussels, and all her career has been dedicated to stakeholders’ management, EU lobbying, negotiation, and cooperation. Inese is also a mindful coach helping women to unfold their potential and supporting their personal growth. Inese is a role model in the High5Girls network, and she has been included in the list of brilliant women in Ai &Ethics.

Sanila (Rana) Dethlefsen, Director and Global Client Partner hos Wipro Limited

Sanila is an accomplished senior executive with over 26 years of international experience in leading growth, strategic planning, and operational excellence in the IT sector. Demonstrated expertise in GTM strategies, B2B sales, P&L management, business development, and marketing across prominent global firms including IBM, Oracle, Dassault Systémes, Dell, and Wipro. Renowned for driving business transformation, cultivating enduring client relationships, and fostering inclusive leadership cultures. Helping customers realizing their digital transformation journey.

Mette Luxhøj, Head of Regulatory Affairs, Software, 3Shape

Mette holds an M.Sc. degree, specialized within the area of digital health, medical device development, legislation, and regulatory strategies. Chairperson for the Expert group on AI in Medtech Denmark (Medicoindustrien). Active for many years in the EU Commission, MDCG groups on New Technologies and International Matters, both as delegate for the Danish Medicines Agency and later industry representative as Chair of the Software Working Group in MedTech Europe and currently FIDE. Board member, Association of the Danish Dental Industry. University lecturer and speaker at MedTech conferences.

Maria Benedikte Skjaerven, Futurist and Gen AI-Trainer

Maria has been passionate about technology since childhood, and her career has focused on using technology to envision and build positive futures. As a futurist and Gen AI-trainer, she helps individuals and organizations unlock the potential of new tools to shape the world we want to live in. She believes that by making technology more accessible, especially for women, we can inspire more people to take part in shaping the future of STEM and beyond.

The event will be in English.

 We have a maximum capacity for ~100 ppl., so please be mindful of the others, IF you for some reason are not able to participate, do cancel your participation, so we can offer the seat to someone else. We want to make sure we don't end up with a lot of food waste, due to no shows.
