Join this member trip that features highlights in both Korea and Japan, giving solid impressions of the two cultures. Seoul, DMZ, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Tokyo and Mount Fuji are some of the places you will experience.
Would you like to experience history, landmarks, culture, architecture and impressive engineering feats in both South Korea and Japan? Then this tour is for you!
There are many highlights in both countries, where you will see:
- Seoul's magnificent palaces, ancient city gates, vibrant markets and modern architecture
- The border with North Korea, also known as the DMZ, where you look into the country to the north
- Kyoto's world-famous UNESCO temples and shrines
- Hiroshima's unique history and message of peace with a trip to the idyllic island of Miyajima
- Mount Fuji's breathtaking natural beauty and significance for Japan
- Tokyo's imense size and futuristic neighborhoods
The transport itself is also an important part of the trip, because the journey around Japan takes place on the iconic Shinkansen, which connects Japan with new technology at high speed without delays.

- October 7, 2025: Arrival at 17:00 to Seoul
- October 8, 2025: Seoul
- October 9, 2025: Seoul and trip to the DMZ/North Korea border
- October 10, 2025: Flight from Seoul to Osaka and train to Kyoto
- October 11, 2025: Kyoto
- October 12, 2025: Kyoto with Arashiyama
- October 13, 2025: Shinkansen train to Hiroshima
- October 14, 2025: Hiroshima and Miyajima
- October 15, 2025: Shinkansen train to Tokyo with stop/sightseeing in Himeji
- October 16, 2025: Trip from Tokyo to Mount Fuji
- October 17, 2025: Tokyo
- October 18, 2025: Departure from Tokyo 00:05 with arrival in Copenhagen 13:15 after flight change

Cost of the trip
As a member of IDA you get DKK 1,000 for each person traveling.
IDA price per person in a shared double room: DKK 28,885
