The event will access mindfulness meditation with a scientific approach where Reinhard Stelter, professor and leader of the Coaching Psychology Unit at Copenhagen University, will tell us about some of his work with mindfulness meditation. Stelter has e.g. through a qualitative interview study, followed people with some mental dysfunctions (stress, sleeping problems, rumination, etc.) and seen how mindfulness mediation has helped them – this study will be covered but above all the focus will be on how mindfulness meditation can be used as a tool to a less stressfull student life and the general positive effects it can add to the everyday.
Note that this is not just a lecture but also will be a discussion between the participants and Stelter, where we will talk about the everyday, it’s challenges and how you can make it more mindful.
There will be provided fruit and a little to drink at the event.
The event will be held at the Biocenter at Nørre Campus, Ole Maaløes vej 5, 2200 KBH, auditorium 4.0.24
The event is primarily for students but you are also welcome if you are a regular member.
