More about tonight's presentation:
Recycling of styrofoam (Flamingo):
EPS-recycle is a danish company located in Thisted. They have developed a method of handling styrofoam (flamingo) so that instead of burning it, it can be recycled. Styrofoam is made of a combination of polystyrene (PS) and air, creating a light and shock absorbing material great for packing.
Eps-recycle works with EPS and GPPS. From EPS (Styrofoam or Airpop) they create GPPS (general purpose polystyrene) which can be used to the same products as PS.
There have been a lot of challenges by developing this method, due to the low density of the material, all this will Lars Steffensen from EPS-recycle come and tell us more about.

Challenges on recycling of plastic:
Mogens Hinge Assco. Professor from Aarhus University will come and give a presentation on the challenges of recycling of plastic.
