At this meeting Maersk will present their new container ship projects which will use e-methanol as their primary fuel. Many of the new advanced features associated with this choice will be presented including the challenges, which have to be solved in the coming years.
DTU will present their new research ship project, which will replace the old (40 years +) research ship DANA.
The ferry operator Scandlines will present latest service experience from operational green improvements of their ferries – i.e. rotor sail performance from the Gedser – Rostock ferries and the improved performance of the Rødby – Fehmarn ferries by hybridization and installation of more efficient azipull propellers.
Finally, a new Ro-Ro cargo ferry project for the Rødby – Puttgarden route will presented at the meeting.

At this meeting the new research ship project, which will replace the old (40 years +) research ship DANA will be presented. The new vessel will be designed to underpin marine research and monitoring of Danish water including the Arctic region, as well as serving as a platform for future educations in the maritime fields.
