During recent years OSK-ShipTech have been undergoing a strong development and have expanded its design capacities to comply with the growing demand from it’s clients both in Denmark and internationally. OSK have been involved in the development of projects for owners world wide and the technology platform includes Battery Hybrid, LNG, Hydrogen Waste heat recovery.

The goal for today’s owners is to select a propulsion and power generation system that suits their particular operational profile while at the same time being fuel efficient, clean, compact and cost effective. New technologies, new opportunities, new challenges and new risks. Bureau Veritas shares experience in new propulsion designs with focus on small Danish domestic ferries such as the new Thyborøn–Agger ferry KANALEN, Rudkøbing–Marstal ferry ÆRØEXPRESSEN and how technologies developed on these smaller scale vessels can be adapted for larger vessels, such as the new ferries for the Canadian Seaspan.
