The third "Hack your Neighbour" event is about Honeypots.
Speaker: Emmanouil Vasilomanolakis, Aalborg University Copenhagen
Honeypots are decoy systems, whose only value lies in being probed, attacked, and/or compromised. Such systems have no real production value, but instead they appear to be vulnerable and thus attractive to attackers. In this talk, we will go through the various existing honeypots to date, and discuss use-cases, practical issues and future directions.
The event is from 18:00 to 21:00 and IDA Connect offers a sandwich during the event.
