An example is the James and Leadon wells where Maersk Drilling did the plug and abandonment and Maersk Supply Service provided the marine asset coverage on all 3 subsea fields.

Port of Frederikshavn has a close cooperation and a long-term lease agreement with Modern American Recycling Services (MARS), involved in reception, onshore decommissioning, handling, sorting, recycling and reuse of oil platforms and fixed/floating constructions incl. rigs, ships, barges, others. MARS Europe has a purpose constructed facility under construction at Port of Frederikshavn. The facility is expected fully operational in Q2 2019.
