CANCELLED - An International’s Guide to Networking

Landing a job in Denmark as an international can be difficult. IDA has invited international sales expert Kate Dahl and is happy to invite you to an evening of inspiration and networking in Aarhus.

Kate’s talk will give you inspiration on how to network in Denmark, brand yourself as an international and how to protect yourself in the Danish labor market. Kate will share her experiences as an international living in Denmark and tell about her struggles and successes in the Danish job market.

I understand the pain and struggles of finding and getting a job in the happiest country in the world. So this talk will be about telling my story, my struggles, my successes, my failures, my achievements. My story will give inspirational tips and tricks on how to network in Denmark the right way from an international’s perspective.

After Kate’s talk, there will be time to ask questions and talk with representatives from IDA as well as time for general networking.

Kate Dahl is an American who has lived in Europe for almost 11 years; 6.5 in Germany and 4 years in Denmark. She completed her Masters in European Studies in Flensburg, Germany and has been in the SaaS start-up tech industry in sales since her arrival in Denmark. After her struggles in landing 8 jobs in four years with less than a three-month unemployment gap at a time, she is now making an initiative to help internationals in Denmark in their job search through CareerDenmark.

There will be served a light meal.
